Cocktail Workshop — What We Do

At our Cocktail Workshop you’ll learn the art and science of craft cocktails in an intimate, hands-on session led by a professional mixologist. We balance technique, flavour theory, and hospitality to give you the skills to recreate bar-quality drinks at home and to understand why they work.

What we cover

• Introduction to spirits: Identifying key flavour profiles (gin, vodka, rum, tequila, whiskey, and fortified wines).

• Building blocks of cocktails: sugar, acid, bitters, and dilution — how to balance a drink.

• Tools and techniques: proper use of shaker, mixing glass, jigger, strainer, bar spoon, muddler, and fine straining.

• Modern elevated techniques: learn about clarification, carbonation and other techniques used in fine elevated bars in the whole world.

• Fresh ingredients and syrups: making simple syrup, flavoured syrups, and citrus handling.

• Classic recipes: hands-on preparation of 3–4 signature cocktails (examples: Old Fashioned, Martini, Daiquiri, Margarita, Negroni).

• Modern variations and garnishing: riffing on classics, aroma components, and presentation.

• Responsible service and tasting etiquette.

• Small-group, instructor-led class

• Demonstration segments followed by guided hands-on mixing and tasting.
